Susan Cerni, M.A. is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor #3763 in the State of Florida and certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors. She is a member of the Central Florida Mental Health Counselors Association, the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
She is trained in Trauma Resolution along with Critical Incident Stress Management and Advanced Crisis Response Team Training. She is also certified in EMDR Level I. Susan received her B.A. in Organizational Communication and a minor in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. She also holds a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida.
Susan has worked with emotionally, physically and sexually abused children and adolescents, adolescent addiction groups and male batterer groups. Her areas of specialty also include women and family issues along with an interest in self esteem enhancement, communication skills and assertiveness training.
